Happy Father's Day, Grampa B!

Jack Henry enjoys a nice pat on and rub of the back from his Grampa B after he eats his evening bottle.

Truly a peaceful moment as JH is being soothed and comforted. You can see how he has nestled his head on his grandfather's shoulder. :)

What is my mood today?

Jack Henry is growing, growing, growing these days and as a result, his moods are evolving as well.

Today (March 4th), Jack Henry's mood is: jazzed as today is his 1 month birthday!!!

March 3rd: stretchy since he likes to exercise his muscles and reach when he yawns.
March 1st: dressy since he was able to wear clothes for the first time.
February 29th: froggy since today is leap day!
February 24th: patchy because someone butchered my haircut to get a new scalp IV.
February 22nd: quacky because my Daddy says I sound like a duck when I get the hiccups!
February 20th: sneezy, but someone tickled his nose!
February 15th: sleepy and happy!

How much do I weigh today?

On a daily basis, at the beginning of the night shift (7PM to 7AM), the nurses weigh the babies in the NICU. For more precision, the weight is reported in grams, but the doctors and nurse practitioners are actually looking for weight trends over a rolling 7-day period.
